The Montpellier Dance Festival was created in 1981 as a crossroads for different dance forms and cultures. Traditional dances, prestigious international companies, experimental dance forms… This festival celebrates dance culture at every level.

The Festival d’Avignon is the oldest and most famous festival in France. A living, driving force. Witness the creative capacity of all the arts where new works regularly are debuted.

The Festival de Marseille, established in 1996, hosts major contemporary international works.  Dance is at the heart of the programming choices, along with theatre, music and visual arts.
